Our experience in supervision

Suzanne Hall (Christchurch) provides clincial supervision for the Christchurch Evidential Interviewing Unit in the evaluation of abuse assessments. Other areas of expertise include assessment of parenting skills, intervention with parenting, particularly where abuse in some form has occurred and assessment of the impact of trauma on children.

Ken McMaster (Christchurch) has provided supervision for a number of years to workers in a diversity of fields. Much of Ken's supervision is either in the group work area or for workers in community based agencies.

Dave Green (Christchurch) provides clinical and/or general supervision for community workers, youth workers, social workers, education advisors, DV workers, adolescent focused mental health team and programme facilitators in both individual, group and team settings. Dave has included case management and programme development.

Mark Tisdall (Palmerston North) provides supervision to a range of workers in the human services. Mark's supervision interests are in the criminal justice and family therapy fields.

Sam Farmer (Auckland) has extensive experience in providing professional supervision to a range of disciplines within the criminal justice sector. Over his career, he has developed expertise in providing supervision to staff working with high risk offenders, particularly sexual offenders. He has upervised and monitored staff delivering criminogenic programmes to medium to medium-high risk offenders. In addition, Sam coaches and supervises professionals within the private sector and has developed and provided training programmes to CYFS supervisors. Sam also keeps abreast of the current literature and attends training opportunities in order to sustain the high quality of his practice.

Coralea Easther (Palmerston North, Kapiti Coast). Since 1993 Coralea has provided both professional and administrative supervision to Probation Officers, mental health case workers and social workers. Coralea has provided one to one coaching for individuals in a number of social services and is passionate about promoting safe and ethical practice

Margaret Robinson (Wellington, Nelson), trained in counselling, facilitation and supervision in London and spent eight years providing both administrative and clinical supervision in individual and group formats to volunteers, counsellors and mental health professionals who worked with young people experiencing abuse and other issues in their lives.
