Matt Williams  - Bachelor of Teaching & Learning (BTcLn) 

Matt's passion is to facilitate the natural learning process of children, young people and adults by providing them with stimulating, relevant learning experiences. He is particularly interested in the area of advocacy and is a strong supporter of facilitating self guided learning. He has been with the Ministry of Social Development / Methodist Mission (South Island) where he was an Advocate for Children & Young People witnessing Family Violence.

- Development of child abuse/family violence prevention resources
- Individual case work with children and young people
- Analysis and research
- Collaboration building
- Community liaison
- Funding and publicity

He also held a role as  Children's Group Educator & Mentor at Methodist Mission
Key Tasks:
- Development of 1 on 1 children's mentoring programme
- Development & delivery of children's group programmes
- Administration & coordination of children's group programmes
- Development & coordination of youth mentors (Young Leaders) programme
- Adult group education - trainings on programme development & delivery
- Community liaison
- Sponsorship & publicity

Matt has also been an English Teacher & Programme Developer in a South Korean High School.
