Join leading expert Ken McMaster for this in-depth and interactive masterclass, where you will identify key intervention areas to drive better engagement and outcomes for participants in family violence programs.

Using a blended learning approach, you will be given access to 25 hours of DFV onboarding content through a combination of workshops, eLearn and resource material, covering:

• An understanding of the role of trauma in DFV
• How to bring the voice of those impacted by DFV into the therapeutic conversation
• Explore core beliefs that drive abusive thinking/behaviour and demonstrate strategies that promote family well-being
• Identify and practice key intervention areas related to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and communication skills.
• How to respond to and disrupt distortions in thinking that support DFV

Workshop dates:

The masterclass is held via the online video conferencing app Zoom. The link, instructions and course material (including eLearn access) are sent to participants a few days before the event.
