HMA Online Event Refund Policy

Please review the following policy before purchasing admittance to any HMA online event.

This policy applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA). These laws guarantee that customers are entitled to a remedy if an event is cancelled, not provided with reasonable care and skill, or is substantially different from what was advertised.

Why We Have a Refund Policy

Most HMA online events involve a high level of interaction, discussion, and small-group participation. We keep participant numbers limited to create a safe, constructive, and engaging learning environment.

Because of this, last-minute cancellations can affect the experience of others and reduce opportunities for people who may have wanted to attend.

We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change, which is why we offer refunds within the timeframe below. Please review the timeframe before purchasing admission to any of our events.

Eligibility for Refunds (Change of Mind or Personal Circumstances)

If you can no longer attend an online event for personal reasons, the following refund conditions apply:

Each registration includes a non-refundable $100 fee up to 14 days before the event’s start date. Event registrations are nonrefundable within 14 days of the event’s commencement.

If HMA Cancels or Postpones an Event

If HMA cancels an online event, you will receive a full refund.

If an event is postponed, you will be offered the choice of:

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the ACL (Australia) or the CGA (New Zealand).

If an event is not delivered as promised or does not meet the standards required by law, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement service, or other remedy.
